Boilermaker / Coded Welder / Pipe Fitter - Leading HandAbout the roleCoded Contracting PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Boilermaker / Coded Welder / Pipe Fitter - Leading Hand to join our dynamic team in Pooraka, South Australia.
In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing high-quality fabrication and welding work to support our clients in the trades and services industry.
What you'll be doing Manage and supervise a team of skilled boilermakers and welders to ensure the efficient and safe completion of projectsPerform complex structural fabrication, welding and pipe fitting tasks to the highest quality standardsRead and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide the fabrication processEnsure all work meets regulatory and safety requirementsProvide guidance and training to junior team members to develop their skillsCollaborate with the project management team to optimise workflow and meet deadlinesMaintain accurate records and documentation related to the work performedWhat we're looking for Minimum 5 years' experience as a Boilermaker / Coded Welder / Pipe Fitter, with demonstrated leadership skillsProficiency in TIG, MIG, and stick welding techniques, with the ability to produce high-quality welds to Australian standardsStrong understanding of pipe fitting and fabrication processesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specificationsKnowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practicesExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking skillsEffective communication and leadership abilities to manage a teamWhat we offerAt Coded Contracting PTY LTD, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
