Motherson Lumen Innovations Australia Pty Limited is seeking an Automotive Project Manager to join our team in Hallam – South East.
This is a full-time role with nearly 2 weeks closure over the Christmas/NY period and an opportunity for growth within the business.

Role Overview The Automotive Project Manager will lead project teams to deliver complex automotive projects, ensuring they are completed on time and with quality.
Main Responsibilities: Program ManagementLead project development teams to deliver major Lumen projects on time with quality.Act as a key interface between engineering, other departments, suppliers, and customers regarding project deliverables.Adhere to internal processes and ISO/TS16949 and IATF16949 standards.Plan and maintain accurate project plans and budgets:Summarize project scope and core deliverables in the project brief.Work with stakeholders to establish an accurate and feasible plan.Identify and maintain project budgets including BOM costs, ED&D, etc.Identify critical path or high-risk activities and maintain focus on them throughout the project.Keep an accurate project plan throughout the project lifecycle.Ensure all stakeholder approvals at each project gate.Maintaining Project IssuesRecord and detail each issue with an accurate description, status, assigned responsibility, and follow-up actions.Periodically review and update issues to ensure project progress without risk.Immediately escalate issues affecting project deliverables to management.Conduct Regular Project Team MeetingsEnsure open communication with all project stakeholders regarding project timing and open issues.Distribute meeting minutes after each meeting.Report weekly to management on project status.Take ownership of all program management activities within the allocated time.The Successful Applicant Will Have: Technical LeadershipExperience across multiple engineering disciplines including project management, product development, electrical engineering, mechanical design, supplier management, manufacturing, and quality systems.Ability to create and document system-level specifications identifying all requirements and interfaces.Adherence to automotive standard product development and quality processes.Other SkillsDocument time against assigned activities.Maintain confidentiality of commercial information.Travel as required.BehaviorsMaintain positive relationships, both internal and external.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Able to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.Proactive approach to tasks with high attention to detail.If you are interested in this role, please apply using the apply button along with a copy of your updated resume and a covering letter.
