The purpose of this role is to provide specialised research skills and services for HeIDI, to assist in the development of research proposals and grant funding applications and gain clinical governance and ethical clearance to maximise the research capacity.
This role may also provide specialised research training for HeIDI and will develop and participate in collaborative interprofessional research activities with internal and external research groups.

Collaborate with others to promote and communicate research activity as achievable and rewarding, and assist to maximise research potential in novice researchers.
Work collaboratively with academic partners, health care consumers, and with other internal and external stakeholders to build research capacity through identification of training, collaboration and funding opportunities.
Coordinate the development of specific clinical research projects by assisting with the development of research protocols and managing ethical and clinical governance approval and preparing applications for grant funding.
Apply clinical evidence in the fully independent application of clinical and research expertise to practice through continuous improvement of quality service delivery.
