We are a business built on family ethics and a hard-working culture and as such we always work to provide the most comprehensive and reliable solutions to each of our clients.Maintaining a strict compliance to industry best practice and Australian government standards, our certified fire protection professionals will design and personalise a plan which meets your fire safety requirements to the letter.Our team is comprised of specialist fire protection professionals, contractors, plumbers, sprinkler fitters and electricians who not only install, but also maintain and provide ongoing support for your fire protection system.About the RoleWe are currently sourcing a Fire Electrician to join our team based from Mackay within our CQ Mining Division. The position is a hands-on role pertaining to the service and maintenance of essential services including fire detection and suppression systems across various industries.You won't need mining experience previously, particularly just a keen interest to learn, hold an Electrician Trade Certificate and QBCC Licence (or obtain prior to commencing).Total Fire Solutions will provide all successful candidates with flights from Brisbane to Mackay, shared company houses and a daily tax-free meal allowance.Experience and QualificationsElectrical Trade QualificationQLD Electrical LicenceQBCC LicenceWilling to learn the Fire IndustryExcellent workmanship, reliability, attention to detail and ability to work in a teamA high standard of safety and a commitment to continual improvementAn ability to work independently with a high level of communication and customer service skillsAn ability to prioritise and arrange service tasks and accurately complete service related documentationManual Drivers LicenceDesirable (or ability to obtain prior to starting):Current GenericCurrent MedicalCurrent Standard 11Work at Heights CertificationLow Voltage/First Aid CertificationCPR CertificationsFPAS certificationsWhy Us?At Total Fire Solutions, we believe that our success is driven by the talent and dedication of our team.
