Create impact as an Analyst- Storm risk, Governance & Budgets Your RoleAs an Analyst for Storm risk, Governance & Budgets you will assist with the program management and stakeholder advisory of the Storm Model product that is used for peril pricing, reinsurance modelling, and major event response.
You'll assist with modelling governance controls and standards.
You'll assist with the operation and innovation of the natural peril budgeting.
Key responsibilities include: Assist with the program management and stakeholder advisory of the Storm Model product that is used for peril pricing, reinsurance modelling and major event responseDevelop a solid understanding of data, statistical modelling and other relevant components of the model that will assist with the improvement of the modelAssist with the team's governance processes such as modelling standards, model monitoring and risk controlsAssist with natural peril budget allocation processAssist with the innovation and development of future natural peril budget allocation processThis is a permanent role open to candidates anywhere in Australia.
About You The successful candidate will have:
Good grounding of mathematical and statistical techniques in finance settingAbility to communicate complex, quantitative analysis in a clear, precise and actionable mannerHighly organised, with high attention to detailExperience in statistical software packagesExperience in database management toolsExperience in geospatial software packages (QGIS, ArcGIS or Mapinfo)Experience in catastrophe modellingApplications close on 17 January 2025
