Management (Community Services & Development)Contract/TempJoin Plan International Australia in an exciting leadership opportunity as Associate Director, Data and Insights.A pivotal and newly created role to lead our Data & Insights team through transformative change, making a significant impact on the success of PIA's marketing, supporter engagement, and fundraising initiatives.Full-Time role.Fixed Term Contract (2 years) – with the possibility for an ongoing appointment.Hybrid/Flexible Work Arrangements.The OpportunityAn exciting leadership opportunity has arisen to join Plan International Australia as the Associate Director, Data and Insights. You'll lead a high-performing data and insights function that underpins all of PIA's fundraising, marketing, and supporter engagement activities. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you'll drive revenue growth, ensure alignment between technology and business goals, and help embed a culture of data-informed decision-making across PIA.You'll be the Product Owner of our recently implemented Salesforce environment, driving business transformation and partnering with stakeholders to maximize the benefits for PIA and the communities we serve. Managing a diverse team overseeing CRM, data, and analytics, you'll ensure PIA's data environment provides accurate, consistent, and timely insights to stakeholders, working in a way that is highly strategic, collaborative, agile, and aligned with the mission and values of the organization.What it's really like?An average day in the role will see you:Leading and developing strategies for a high-performing data and insights functionActing as Product Owner for our Salesforce environmentEnsuring data integrity and compliance with all relevant policies and privacy regulationsManaging a team that provides accurate, consistent, and timely data and insightsPartnering with stakeholders across the organization to drive revenue growthContributing to the Senior Leadership Team and organizational strategyOverseeing performance monitoring, data quality, and reporting initiativesWho are you?We're looking for an experienced leader with a passion for data-driven decision-making and a commitment to social impact.The core skills we are looking for are:Experience in senior leadership, with demonstrated ability to drive transformation, change management, team performance, and cultureAdvanced knowledge and experience in high-level data-driven environments including CRM management and configurationStrong experience acting as a business partner to deliver data and insights aligned with organizational objectivesDemonstrated experience leading complex projects, particularly in performance monitoring and reportingUnderstanding of fundraising and marketing, and how data supports outcomes in these areasExcellent communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex informationAlignment with PIA values and commitment to social impact and feminist leadershipNot-for-profit sector experienceExperience with AI and emerging technologiesHours, pay and start date?This is a full-time fixed-term position (2 years) with the possibility of ongoing.The role is based in Melbourne with hybrid working arrangements.We are looking for someone to start in the role as soon as possible; however, we can be flexible for the right person.What's Next?If you're interested, upload your cover letter and resume through either SEEK, Ethical Jobs, or Pro Bono Careers.
