Structural Design Engineer

Our client, a global leader in post-tensioning products and solutions and a leading provider of multi-disciplinary structural strengthening and remediation solutions for the construction industry, is looking for a Structural Design Engineer to join their team in Perth, WA.
About the Role: In this role, you will ensure designs meet technical requirements, are delivered on time and within budget, and align with quality standards.
You'll collaborate with a global engineering team, support business development with structural schemes, and oversee quality assurance to complement site operations.
Additionally, you'll engage in marketing, lead generation, and relationship building, providing competitive solutions and tracking project progress to drive revenue and profit growth.
What They're Looking For: Degree or higher in Engineering (Civil / Structural)Eligibility for membership of Engineers Australia or equivalent organizationAt least 2 years design experience with concrete structures.Established connections with builders in WA's building sectorExperience with local standardsExperience with specialist post-tension design software (RAPT, RAM Concept, Adapt etc)Primary Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients and design teams to ensure system designs meet codes, standards, budgets, and timelines.Design post-tensioned slabs and ensure structural adequacy and compliance.Update designs for scope changes and resolve site issues.Inspect and approve post-tensioned structures on-site.Oversee QA system implementation and document control.Make minor CAD revisions and support staff training.Market the business, log leads, and assist with tenders and budgets.Attend pre-contract meetings as needed.If you thrive in a fast-paced setting, enjoy team collaboration, and want to be part of an agile organization, this role is perfect for you.
