Business Analyst Manager (Finance) - InsuranceCompany BackgroundOur client is an established and reputable insurance business with a global presence.
Locally they are a medium-sized organisation with a rapidly expanding footprint.This position will report directly to a talented CFO and will work with and around a high-performing finance team, as well as multiple stakeholders including IT, the technical department and actuaries.
They allow an equal split of work from home and the office and enjoy a high-performance team culture.As a result of unprecedented growth, this role will be a combination of data, IT and analysis, and will see you get almost unheard-of experience and exposure as the company grows.As the successful applicant, you will join this organisation at an exciting time.
You will enjoy fascinating exposure whilst also taking on a broad project-focused, business partnering and analytical remit.The RoleYour role as Business Analyst Manager (Finance) will report to and act as the right-hand person to the CFO.
Supporting him (and being trained by him), your duties will cover an appealing mix of building reports, dashboards, analysis, project work and stakeholder management to ensure the successful evolution of the function.Your duties will change and evolve due to the high growth of the company and will include but will not be limited to:Business partnering with the wider finance and IT teamsImplement/evolve financial reports that support technical accounting, management reporting, and forecasting modelsSupport the implementation of new IT solutions for technical reporting, including business validationDeliver precise and timely financial analysis and reports to aid in decision-makingData manipulation and analysis using Python, SQL, SASTrack and oversee financial risks and opportunities associated with the IT transformationEnsure adherence to financial regulations and standardsAssist the Chief Financial Officer with strategic financial planning and analysisDesign and implement financial reports that support technical accounting, management reporting, and financial modelsYour BackgroundIn order to be considered for this Business Analyst Manager (Finance) role you will meet the following criteria:Have experience within the Insurance industryProficiency in languages e.g.
