DC Procurement - ANZ & NE Asia Sub Regional Leader Overview

Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO&I) is the team behind the cloud.
Within CO&I, the Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) team is responsible for delivering core datacenter infrastructure for Microsoft's cloud business.
We are looking for a passionate, high-energy individual to help build the cloud datacenters that power the world's largest online services.
Qualifications Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 7+ years experience in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, and/or Operations OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 9+ years experience in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, and/or Operations OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in industry like Data Center / Infrastructure / Power / Oil & Gas industry managing large capital projects with Contractors & Equipment supplier management.
Experience in Supply Chain Management, Commercial Negotiations/Contracting and external Supplier/contractor Management across multiple projects spread across different locations.
5+ years People management experience leading a team.
Responsibilities The Sub-Regional DC Procurement Manager/Director establishes the development of multi-year sourcing strategies and protocols at scale for complex projects.
This role includes:
Leading the integration of business specifications and sourcing strategies.
Driving business impact by establishing functional standards and procurement performance expectations.
Negotiating strategic oversight for improving existing or establishing new Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Overseeing and leading the pricing and negotiation strategies for the most complex and strategic purchasing categories.
Managing supplier activity and progress across the most complex and strategic accounts.
Driving employee growth and development, executing projects, and managing performance.
Compliance
Ensures compliance is cascaded down to the business and serves as subject matter expert on SLAs.
Sourcing
Leads the integration of business specifications and sourcing strategies into supplier selection processes.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Drives the execution of strategies for business and industry engagements between sourcing teams and cross-functional corporate leadership.
