Maintenance Lead

Vestas Wind have released a new position for an experienced, enthusiastic and collaborative Maintenance Lead to join our fantastic team in Bangholme.
This is an exciting role where you can truly feel like you are helping to make a difference to the planet and its climate by assisting our construction and operations teams to build and maintain wind farms across Australia and New Zealand.
Be part of a highly dedicated Maintenance team, to maintain and control our Tools and Equipment to service and construction sites.
Join one of the largest renewable energy companies in the world and as a team we strive to deliver tools to service and construction sites in ASP.
In this role, you will be working with colleagues locally and throughout the APAC region.
We work in a fast-paced department, and we need to adjust our workload planning often.
The successful candidate will thrive on working in a flexible and fast-paced environment.
ResponsibilitiesLead team in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of production and facility equipmentAssist Maintenance Supervisor in managing daily workload and ensuring efficient service deliveryPlan and resource Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and maintenance breakdowns & repairsPlan and resource lifting equipment certification and tool calibrationPromote continuous improvement and active problem-solving within the teamDemonstrate strong communication skills in a fast-paced environmentProvide leadership and line management, coordinating workloads and supporting team performanceMonitor issues and ensure targets, KPIs, and quality standards are metParticipate in safety and quality incident investigationsDevelop and mentor team members, focusing on performance and safetyAct independently with outcomes reviewed by organisational head, impacting function success QualificationsTechnical diplomaMinimum 7 years of experience in Tool Maintenance & Calibration FieldFamiliarity with SAP or similar systemsIn-depth knowledge of regulatory standards and quality assurance practicesExperience in handling a teamExperience with Wind Turbine Installation and OMS Knowledge preferred but not essential CompetenciesProficient in understanding new technologySkilled in interpreting DMS documents and circuit diagrams for troubleshootingEffective communication during critical timesInvolvement in decision-making processesSelf-accountabilityGoal setting for the teamStrong analytical skillsAbility to work under pressureTeam collaborationContinuous learning and improvement What We OfferA strong safety cultureDynamic and fast-paced work environmentAn opportunity to work with the world leader in wind energyThe opportunity to further develop your skills and professional developmentGlobal career progression prospectsDiversity and Inclusion Our BenefitsJoin the World's Leading Wind Energy Solutions ProviderExcellent Career Development opportunities both Nationally and GloballyA workplace that embraces Diversity and InclusionFlexible workplace arrangements13 weeks Paid Primary Carers Leave3 weeks Paid Secondary Carers LeaveEmployee Assistance Program Vestas is an equal opportunity employer.
