As one of Queensland's largest legal practices, we offer a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.About You:You must be admitted as a Legal Practitioner in Queensland or hold (or be eligible for immediate acquisition of) a current Practising Certificate and be admitted as a Legal Practitioner or Barrister of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the Australian High Court. You should demonstrate a high level of professional service and capacity across a wide range of Family Law, Domestic Violence, and (after training) Child Protection advocacy.Ideally, you will have a minimum of two years of full-time experience, resilience in handling complex cases, including Domestic Violence and Child Protection work, and the ability to develop culturally competent service skills.Key Responsibilities:In this role, you will engage directly with clients daily, honing your advocacy skills within a busy team. You will have the autonomy to manage your own workflows without the pressure of billable hours, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
