About the role
We are currently seeking highly skilled professionals to join our dynamic Cyber Security team. These roles are pivotal to securing operational technology environments and enhancing our cyber defense capabilities. These positions offer the opportunity to work on innovative cyber security projects, with a particular focus on integrating cyber security tools into operational technology systems. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience, solid technical expertise, and the ability to work closely with various stakeholders to strengthen our overall security posture.
Key Responsibilities: Work closely with the existing Sydney Trains architects to align security architectures with the operational technology environment.Ensure the integration of cyber security tools with operational technology systems (e.g., train management systems, control centers, high-voltage networks).Lead the efforts to operationalize cyber security tools that have been implemented but not fully operationalized.Integrate security tools with crown jewels and ensure ongoing operational success across 6 active projects (including patch management systems, SIEM capability uplift, and intrusion detection).Oversee the integration of cyber security management systems and ensure security tools work seamlessly with ongoing operational processes.Required Qualifications: Experience in designing and managing cyber security architectures, particularly within operational technology environments.Strong understanding of cyber security tools (e.g., SIEM, intrusion detection) and how they can be integrated into existing systems.Ability to collaborate closely with architects, operational teams, and other stakeholders.Proven ability to operationalize security tools and integrate them with critical operational systems.Familiarity with security challenges in environments like signals, passenger information systems, high-voltage networks, and train management systems.How to apply If you're ready to take on this exciting opportunity and join the team, please apply here or alternatively, you can email Jennifer from our Sydney office at ****** quoting Job Reference 543541 to register your interest.
