This is a dynamic role where you'll work alongside skilled health professionals to deliver essential services across the Eyre & Far North Region.

Please note this position is multi-classed as AHA1 or AHA2 or AHA3 and classification will be determined on qualifications, knowledge and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Allied Health professionals in delivering therapy and patient care.
Provide support with patient-related equipment, ensuring safe and effective use.
Work under supervision to follow safe work practices and procedures.
Adapt to a variety of therapeutic activities, including physical therapy, rehabilitation, and health programs.
Communicate effectively with a diverse range of patients, families, and team members.
What We're Looking For:
AHA1: Eligible to undertake Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance.
AHA2: Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance (or in progress).
AHA3: Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent.
Ability to work in a healthcare environment, under direction and supervision from Allied Health Professionals.
Strong communication skills, with an aptitude for engaging with culturally diverse individuals.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks related to patient therapy and care.
A commitment to confidentiality and ethical practices in healthcare.

The Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN) is responsible for the planning and delivery of hospital and health services over 337,626 square kilometres, taking in the Eyre Peninsula, western part of South Australia and north to Coober Pedy.
We are one of the largest LHNs by area in Australia and communities include Ceduna, Cleve, Coober Pedy, Cowell, Cummins, Elliston, Kimba, Oodnadatta, Port Lincoln, Streaky Bay, Tumby Bay and Wudinna.
Services include acute care, medical, accident and emergency, surgery, birthing and midwifery, specialist consultancy, renal dialysis, chemotherapy, transfusions, rehabilitation, residential and community aged care, respite care, transitional care packages, Aboriginal health, mental health, allied health, community health, community nursing, palliative care, community home support packages and home modifications.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
