Medical Officer

Job Description In this role you will provide face to face GP medical care to detainees in HCA's Brisbane Immigration Detention Facility.
You will work with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high standards of care for patients.
The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care and fostering a collaborative environment that promotes patient recovery and wellness.
Key Responsibilities Provide face to face general medical care, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.
Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans that address the health needs of patients Advocate for the needs of patients, ensuring they receive appropriate resources and support throughout their treatment journey Qualifications Education: Medical qualification to enable registration with AHPRA or MCNZ GP Fellowship Current registration Skills and Experience: Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in General Practice.
Clinical Skills: Expertise in evidence-based assessment and treatment, including medication management and therapeutic interventions.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to utilize data to inform clinical decisions and enhance service delivery.
Cultural Competence: Understanding of and sensitivity to the cultural and social factors that impact health care.
