The role will provide the right candidate with the opportunity to demonstrate their Technical Risk SME knowledge and experience, supporting delivery of the organization's highest priority program.
As a key member of the Cloud Controls workstream, you'll provide SME support for the program's risk management activities, create, uplift and socialize Technical Risk documentation, as well as assess and document technical risk relating to identified IT control gaps.
The role reports into the Cloud Controls project manager for line management / work allocation, and a dotted line into IT Governance for Technical Risk guidance.
Key Responsibilities• Assess and document the current state technical risk position.• Leverage technical risk SME knowledge to uplift existing documentation.• Develop a detailed Cloud Technical Risk Assessment, presenting back to senior stakeholders to enable key risk-based decisions.• Provide ongoing support for Program risk governance activities, supporting the Program Co-Ordinator and Project Managers.• Host Program risk management reviews, present to technology groups and senior stakeholders.• Assist with gathering and documenting control implementation evidence in readiness to submit to external auditors.
Skills and Qualifications • Certifications like CRISC, CISA and PRINCE2/Agile will be preferred.
Practical experience Minimum of 7 years of experience in Risk, Compliance, Assurance and Regulatory areas.• Preferred candidate with professional consulting experience in risk management, ideally for corporate clients.• You'll have a proven track record of delivering high quality, in-depth Technical Risk Assessments.• Solid understanding of IT controls and knowledge of technology risk frameworks is preferred.• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skillsets.• Ability to plan and prioritize to simultaneously manage multiple work streams or deliverables
