Williams Sonoma Australia is seeking a HR & Recruitment Coordinator to join our team.
In this role, you will be pivotal in supporting our recruitment efforts, ensuring that we attract and hire the best talent.
You will manage the entire recruitment process from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires, while also providing key HR support.
Key Responsibilities Recruitment Process Management: Oversee the entire recruitment cycle for retail and corporate positions, including job postings, candidate screening, shortlisting, and coordinating interviews.
Utilise platforms such as Seek and Linked In Recruiter to attract, source, and engage high-quality talent.
Collaborate with the HR Business Partner and retail store managers to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies for different roles.
Build and maintain a talent pool of retail and corporate candidates to meet current and future recruitment demands.
Ensure a seamless candidate experience, from initial contact through to offer acceptance and onboarding.
Provide coaching and guidance to managers on recruitment best practices.
Onboarding and Probation Management: Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including managing documentation, employment contracts, conducting reference checks through an online system (Harver) and work rights and background checks through Work Pro.
Coordinate and track probation period reviews, ensuring managers receive timely reminders and all necessary documentation is completed and properly recorded.
Enhance the probation process to improve efficiency and ensure compliance.
HR Support and Compliance: Work closely with the HR team to ensure recruitment activities comply with company policies and employment regulations.
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of recruitment reports, tracking key metrics such as time-to-hire and candidate pipeline health.
Provide HR support for various tasks, including drafting job descriptions, maintaining the organisational chart, managing compliance courses through Work Pro, and addressing recruitment queries from managers and candidates.
Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed.
Industry Trends & Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on retail recruitment trends and continuously seek ways to improve sourcing strategies.
Identify and implement process improvements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
Requirements: 1-2 years of experience in HR & recruitment, preferably in a retail environment Intermediate in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point) Experience with ATS systems such as Oracle (preferred) Proven experience using Seek and Linked In Recruiter to source and engage candidates Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple open roles concurrently Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience in high-volume recruitment is an advantage Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines Only candidates with the required work rights in Australia will be considered.
