We are seeking skilled professionals to join a critical workshop-based project at our client's Eagle Farm facility.

Position Overview: As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Fitter, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of mechanical systems, specifically diesel-powered equipment and heavy machinery.
Your expertise will help ensure that the plant runs efficiently during scheduled maintenance, while adhering to strict safety protocols and timelines.

Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and preventative maintenance on diesel-powered machinery and mechanical equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in diesel engines and heavy vehicles Install, align, and dismantle mechanical and diesel equipment as required Collaborate with the maintenance team to meet project deadlines and ensure smooth operations Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and procedures in a high-security, defense-focused environment Requirements: Trade qualifications as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent) Proven experience in heavy diesel mechanics, ideally within the heavy industry or defense sector Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and fault-finding skills with a focus on diesel engines and systems Ability to work in a physically demanding environment A commitment to safety and delivering high-quality work at all times Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol Testing and maintain a clean criminal record A valid Driver's License About You: We're looking for candidates with a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and an unwavering commitment to quality and safety.
