About the client
JD Ross has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Asset Manager to join a leading independent power producer to manage, maintain and maximise the performance and value of Renewable Energy assets in Australia.
Extensive pipeline of renewable energy assets in a dynamic and growing international business.
Play a pivotal role in the transition to a sustainable energy future.
Key Responsibilities:
You will act as a key decision maker regarding the Strategic Asset Management and Operational Performance Assurance of various assets.
You will work to develop the O&M scope, create technical solutions and O&M reporting.
Ensure operations and maintenance performance targets are achieved.
Coordinate with stakeholders and negotiate contractual agreements with third parties.
Supervise contractors and external consultants involved in preparation and execution of the Operation and Maintenance activities.
Prepare the budget forecasts and create financing strategies.
Process safety management.
Ensure Health and Safety objectives are achieved.
Requirements/Desirables:
Tertiary Qualification in Engineering.
Proven experience of supervision, leadership and co-ordination of O&M activities.
Experience within the Renewable Energy Industry – wind, solar, HV infrastructure.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Contract management experience.
Strong knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety.
Effective leadership and supervision skills.
Effective planning and organizational skills.
