Advocating for a young person's sense of belonging while encouraging their independence is a deeply rewarding career path.
Travel around the North Brisbane region will be essential for this role.
This role is for full-time employment and requires availability across 7 days.
We operate a roster of a minimum of 5 x 24-hour shifts per fortnight.

The induction program is designed to provide qualified Youth Workers with a solid understanding of a 'day in the life' of a Youth Worker as well as the skills, knowledge, and practice to work within our Integrated Practice Framework.
Due to the trauma-sensitive work of our Youth Workers, we require our inductee Youth Workers to successfully complete the Induction Program before they can be assigned to a young person.
As such, employment offers are made on a casual basis and following the successful completion of the Induction Program, permanent, full-time offers are made.
Candidates will need to be available to attend the Induction Program which will take approximately 3 weeks.
About You To be successful in this role you will need to have: Hold a Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (or hold recognized qualifications)Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)Hold and maintain a full Australian Drivers LicenceDemonstrated ability to openly engage and build trust with young people from diverse backgroundsImplement strategies and tactics to mentor and teach our youth necessary life skillsMaintain a level of grit and resilience to overcome challenges that are confrontingAbility to work under pressure and deliver resultsWe look forward to receiving your application.
