You will learn from a dedicated team of industry experts while completing your Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication Trade).This is a full-time, permanent role.
We currently work 6am – 2:30pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours) with occasional overtime.
In the new year, we will be working 5:30am - 2:30pm, with an early finish at 12pm on Fridays.
This position will be based in our manufacturing plant located in Coomera Marine Precinct, on the Northern end of the Gold Coast.
All TAFE training will also be delivered onsite within our training facilities.Desired Skills and ExperienceWhat we are looking for:Completion of Certificate II Engineering, or a pre-apprenticeship course would be highly advantageous.Drivers licence, or working towards, with reliable transport to and from work daily.Ability to do early starts and overtime when required.Willingness to learn
You will learn to fabricate and build aluminium boats, including learning both MIG and TIG welding skills.Learn to use a variety of equipment such as power tools, pneumatic tools, band saws, hand tools, and welders.Strong safety awareness.Reliability, enthusiasm, and a good work ethic.Commitment to your apprenticeship, and willingness to have fun, learn every day, and challenge yourself.Do you want to be valued and rewarded for your hard work?Employee of the Month awards and recognition.
