CLS is a large-scale family owned and operated commercial laundry company established in 1990.
CLS is located across multiple regional QLD sites and employs 300+ people.Our Gladstone operation services the Central QLD region including Rockhampton, Mackay and the Bowen Basin.Our operation is seeking an experienced Trades Assistant with proven mechanical aptitude to join our growing Maintenance Team and provide more maintenance coverage across production hours.The successful candidate will be required to assist and eventually maintain and repair our machinery on afternoon shift.To be successful, you must:Have good mechanical aptitude with relevant experience.Be prepared to work flexible hours, predominantly Monday to Friday on the day shift (9am - 5pm).
Some weekends, after hours & call backs required.Work independently & without supervision but be accountable to the Maintenance Manager.Be willing to learn new skills including specific troubleshooting for specialised Plant & Equipment.Help operations generally by being proactive across a mix of tasks.Adopt a professional & positive attitude with co-workers and management.Work by approved systems and practices compliant with best industry practice including company WH&S directives.Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise work effectively in an environment of regular change.This is a full-time position with remuneration negotiable.Please apply for this position via Seek including a cover letter and resume outlining your relevant experience.Please note only short-listed applicants will be contacted.
