About the role We are looking for an Electrical Estimator with experience across engineering and construction projects to join our team in Adelaide.
The main function of this role is managing bids/proposals, developing and maintaining the estimating database, evaluation of contractor tender costs and preparation of tender estimates with input (as required) from other Engineering and Construction departments.
About you Ideally, you will have:
Demonstrated experience in multidisciplinary DnC, EPC and EPCM projectsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsA demonstrated understanding of the project phases from design to commissioningRelevant experience in a project or design engineering team in a greenfield and brownfield environmentProven knowledge of the estimating process from start to completion for multidisciplinary engineering and construction projectsAbility to prepare top down and bottom up estimatesPreparation of detailed project delivery schedules in MS Project for Engineering and Construction projectsParticipate (where required) in tender site walkthroughs to gather first-hand information in order to prepare tendersAn ability to use a variety of specialised estimating tools, potentially bringing your own to the roleConfidence in sourcing suppliers and understanding materials, labour and equipment pricing across the Adelaide area and national marketExperience in preparing, liaising, evaluating and delivering submissions for tenders and projectsExperience in contract reviews, risk profiling and allocation in accordance with governance profile, tender negotiations, support to executive, BD teams and OperationsIf you are an Electrical Estimator with a passion for working through the detail to deliver engineering excellence and want to work in a collaborative team environment with varied clients and projects, apply today.
