About the Role:We are seeking a Team Leader with strong leadership skills to support our growing operations and ensure our Fabrication division continues to strive for consistent high standards.
You will be responsible for providing hands-on leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant fabrication and services as part of our dedicated team based in Para Hills West.
Skills and Duties:Successful applicants for this role will have the ability to:
Provide effective leadership and direction to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environmentCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers to ensure smooth operations and address any issuesPossess excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ideally with the ability to think strategically and manage projects effectivelyLead by example with a strong focus on safe work practices and toolbox meetingsEnsure trades people are trained to the highest level and track job time and costs to support continuous improvement.Essential Requirements:Experienced Leadership capability within heavy fabrication / welding and preferably in the mining industryCertificate III in Engineering (Fabrication)Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and the safety of your co-workersMust be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testingDiversity and Inclusion:Diversity and inclusion sit at the heart of the Liebherr Group's Core Values.
