Children's Health Queensland is a specialist statewide hospital and health service dedicated to caring for children and young people from across Queensland and northern New South Wales.
The Queensland Paediatric Cardiac Service (QPCS) is a multidisciplinary service dedicated to designing, developing and delivering state of the art models of care for children with childhood acquired and congenital heart disease, ensuring high quality medical and quality of life outcomes for the patient and family's life journey.
QPCS is committed to the Children's Health Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Equity Strategy.
The purpose of this role is to provide clinical expertise and consultancy through advanced clinical leadership relevant to the speciality of paediatric cardiology.
The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) provides direct and indirect care as required and works in collaboration with the Director of Cardiology, other NG7s in the service and the wider health care team to support the clinical unit in provision of safe quality healthcare through exemplary clinical nursing standards of practice for the specialty of paediatric cardiology.
