Job DescriptionABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY Six-month contract commencing January 2025 (to cover Long Service Leave)Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, including school holidaysOut of hours on-call for critical incident response - weeknights and every 2nd weekend.
On-call allowance payable.The Homestay Coordinator is responsible for the provision of accommodation arrangements for long-term and short-term overseas students, and domestic students as necessary.
This includes the accreditation of Homestay families and the monitoring of student placements, thus assisting students to adjust to their new lifestyle.
This position also provides after-hours on-call for critical incident response as required under the ESOS Act and the National Code.
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience: Experience coordinating accommodation for overseas studentsAbility to communicate effectively with adolescents with an understanding of cultural differencesCompetent in the use of Microsoft applications, particularly Word, Excel, reporting and database inquiriesExcellent time management and organisational skillsCurrent Queensland Driver's Licence and registered vehicleBe available for out-of-hours on-call response.IMPORTANT INFORMATION: St Paul's School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all the students in our care.
