Your New Role
Your new role is a CV building opportunity unequalled.
A senior accountant position reporting directly to the CFO and peer to the senior management accountant.
Initially, you will work independently and over time may take over management of transactional accounting and become finance manager (with growth).
You will enjoy the benefits of a CFO willing to train you in the fine art of corporate accounting, giving you a broad range of experience, not only in financial reporting and compliance, financial statement preparation, statutory accounts, taxation, but also in developing systems, use of BI tools, and business improvement.
Your Profile
If you can bring the talent, they'll provide the training.
You are highly numerate, quick thinking, engaging, a fast learner and excellent communicator (verbal, written, formal report writing).
It's not about your years of experience, it's what you've been able to achieve and outperform your peers in public practice (awards, advancement, early promotions, recognition) in addition to your academic achievements.
You've always been the high performer in the team and are looking for an opportunity in corporate with growth.

The CFO believes a CA / CPA qualified senior accountant or assistant manager would be the right level of experience for this appointment.
Corporate backgrounds will also be considered, so long as technical accounting competence is demonstrated in a financial reporting function of a reasonably complex organisation HQ role.
