Join Our Team as an Engineering Traffic Officer
Position: Engineering Traffic Officer Location: Sydney (Hybrid Working) Start Date: 3rd February 2025 Contract: 9 months with the possibility of extension Rate: $65/hour + Super Hours: 7.6 hours/day, 38 hours/week About the Role: Talent International is recruiting for a dynamic Engineering Traffic Officer to join a prestigious NSW Government client.
This role is instrumental in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles across the road network.
Key Responsibilities: Traffic Management: Develop and implement strategies to improve traffic flow, parking, and road safety in alignment with regulations.
Data Analysis: Collect and analyze traffic data to identify issues and create effective solutions for traffic, parking, and safety challenges.
Stakeholder Engagement: Provide clear, professional advice to internal and external stakeholders, fostering informed decision-making.
Local Traffic Committee Support: Prepare reports and offer technical support for the Local Pedestrian, Cycling, and Traffic Calming Committee.
What We're Looking For: Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
Experience: Demonstrated expertise in traffic engineering, including resolving complex traffic and transport challenges and stakeholder negotiation.
Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
License: A valid Class C Driver's License.
