Be a vital member of a team of five.About IBIS TECHNOLOGYWe design, install and maintain custom laboratory water systems in pathology, mining & research laboratories such as Clinipath, Western Diagnostics, PathWest, Intertek, SGS, UWA & Curtin University. We are a growing business with a team of engineers & technicians who provide amazing customer service and technical solutions for our customers.About the roleThe main duties of the role will be:Commissioning & constructing water systemsPreventative and breakdown maintenance mostly in the Perth area.Work with our engineers to improve system designsOccasional opportunity for travel to locations such as Bunbury & Geraldton (every quarter)This is a key role in our small business and the successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop with the business and take on responsibility. A fitted-out service vehicle and iPad will be provided.Skills and ExperienceStrong mechanical aptitude, enjoy working with hands - power tools, plumbing skillsDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot faultsHighly organised, good communication skills and polite mannerAbility to lift 25 - 30 kgBasic computer skills such as emailConstruction Whitecard, WA drivers license & police clearancePrior water treatment experience, plumbing skills, working with aluminium profile / wood / cabinetry / machinery or having worked as service technician will be highly regarded.More about our Culture & the jobThe workplace is relaxed. We even have a resident Cavoodle to play with.The owners work in the business, so if you need something to get the job done better… just ask.We don't service every day. Most Mondays and Fridays you will be in our super organised workshop.We give technicians every Friday to organise & modify their van, build & purchase tools to make servicing easier.You will have a training buddy for a month, dedicated to getting you up to speed.Regular team BBQsHow to applySend us your cover letter and resume.
