The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough, and Lane, selected to design and construct Snowy 2.0.
This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.
Future Generation Joint Venture, on behalf of SC Hydro Pty Ltd, is currently recruiting for a TBM Operator (Pilot) on the Snowy 2.0 Project in the Snowy Monaro region.
The project operates on a 14:7 roster, with 12-hour shifts that may include rotating days and nights.
The successful candidate will: Have experience with the operation of TBMs controlling cutterheads.Erect tunnel lining segments and prepare segment inspection and installation reports.Ensure proper alignment and driving during TBM operations.Perform operation, daily maintenance, and routine servicing of equipment.Ensure timely progress of work according to schedule and plans.Familiarize themselves with approved emergency procedures, contingency plans, communication procedures, and rescue plans.Complete shift/daily records.Identify any and all safety hazards and notify the appropriate persons accordingly.You must currently hold the following tickets/licenses: Driver's licenseHigh-risk work license – Forklift, EWP, DGWorking at HeightsConfined SpaceGeneral Construction Induction training (white card)Right to work in AustraliaAbility to pass a medical and a criminal history checkThese positions are in remote challenging areas with extreme cold temperatures, which need to be considered before applying for these roles.
