The role We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to play a pivotal role in our client's engineering team.
You will provide technical leadership and expertise across multiple projects, with a particular focus on gold processing plants.
From feasibility through to commissioning, your ability to deliver high-quality process design and solutions will be instrumental to the success of the consultancy's projects.
Key Responsibilities Supporting the design and optimisation of mineral processing plants with a focus on gold projects.Deliver high-quality process engineering documentation, including PFDs, P&IDs, and process design calculations.Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, including feasibility studies, detailed design, and commissioning.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver cost-effective and innovative EPCM solutions.Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental standards.Mentor and develop junior engineers within the team.What you'll need to succeed 10-15+ years of experience in the mining industry or engineering consultancy.A degree in Chemical or Process Engineering (or equivalent).Significant experience as a Process Engineer in the mining and resources sector, within an EPCM environment.Demonstrated expertise ideally in gold processing plant design and operations.Strong technical skills in process design, including flowsheet development and equipment selection.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.ONLY candidates with the right to work in Australia will be considered.
