About the role
UGL's Engineering business is expecting significant growth in 2025 as we support major Rail and Tunnel Infrastructure Projects.
As a result, we have an Expression of Interest open for the following roles:
Discipline Lead Engineer – ROS Discipline Lead Engineer – Telecoms Telecommunications Design Engineer
The Telecommunications Engineer's role is to specialise in designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining communication systems which may involve various networks like WAN, LAN, 4G, 5G, and Digital Radio.

About You
Experience in Radio System Designs, preferable experience with PMR, Mobile Systems, or Broadcasting Systems.
Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
Must have an Australian Driver Licence.
Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel, email.
Experience gained in the rail, automotive, military, Defence, avionics, or any other safety-critical environment.
