Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Access Consultant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about accessibility, detail-oriented, and willing to travel to various project sites.
This role involves working closely with clients to assess, plan, and implement access solutions that meet regulatory standards and enhance user experience.
What Will You Do?
Work closely with the VBC team Provide recommendations for improving accessibility and ensuring compliance with disability access regulations Craft tailored recommendations that not only comply with regulations but elevate the overall experience for all users.
Collaborate with innovative architects, designers, and construction teams to breathe life into inclusive design solutions.
Conduct accessibility audits and assessments of facilities, spaces, and environments.
Travel to project sites, as required.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation.
Who Are You?
You're a proactive problem-solver with a contagious passion for accessibility, holding a degree in architecture, design, engineering, or a related field.
With a strong grasp of disability access regulations, you're skilled in turning challenges into solutions.
Ideally, you bring at least 3 years of relevant experience in access consulting to the table, along with outstanding communication skills that build bridges with clients and collaborators alike.
