Vehicle Body Builder / Vehicle Accessory Fitter needed – Full-Time position Amtek is an Australian owned and operated company that specializes in building customized, engineered vehicle solutions for a range of government and private clients including Ambulance service, Police, Disability access, Fire and Rescue, retirement & nursing homes, special needs schools, and many more.
We are currently recruiting experienced Vehicle Body Builders / Vehicle Accessory Fitters to work in our production facility in Ravenhall, VIC.
We are a dynamic company building the latest emergency and specialized vehicles.
Work is conducted in a clean, modern facility and involves significant vehicle conversions.
Your main responsibilities will include: Assisting in the assembly of a wide range of purpose-built vehiclesAssembly and fitting of vehicle accessories such as side steps, seating, flooring, handrails, light bars, etc.Assisting in day-to-day tasks as per Team Leader's instruction, including general laboring and specific tasks to assist the team and Team LeaderAssisting in the repairs and maintenance of productsThe successful candidate will need to be motivated, self-driven, reliable, genuine, and committed.
You will work well within a team and have a high attention to detail.
Minimum Requirements: Qualification in Vehicle Body Building / Manufacturing and/or relevant industry experience preferredAbility to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanshipExperience working with a variety of tasks using hand tools and power toolsAbility to work well independently while being part of a teamWhy you should join the Amtek team Amtek will provide you with support to gain and increase your industry experience.
