Gaming Attendant/Bar Attendant - Granville Hotel
This role requires strong guest service skills with experience in gaming, keno, tab and cash handling desired at the Granville Hotel.
What you'll do:
Responsibly operate the gaming / wagering room and maintain general cleanliness of the room
Handle customer queries, complaints and pay disputes
Carry out machine payouts in accordance with hotel policies and gaming regulations as well as performing clearance procedures if required
Operate cash registers, handling cash and balancing the till at the end of the shift
Provide Food and Beverage service to guests
Initiate conversation with guests when appropriate and when the opportunities arise
This role requires a National Police Check to be conducted as part of our commitment to leading in responsibility in Anti Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing, which will be part of the recruitment process.
What you'll need:
Great communication skills as well as cash handling experience
Be able to provide high quality guest service to enhance the guest experience
Understand and follow Responsible Service of Gaming/ Responsible Conduct of Gaming and house policies
You are a team player who can follow supervisor's requests to perform other tasks from time to time which contribute to the overall success of the venue's operations
You are competent in Responsible Service of Alcohol as appropriate and comply with the intent and legal obligations of RSA.
Industry licences and accreditation i.e.
gaming licence, RSA/RSG/RCG, wagering accreditation (amend according to state requirements N.B An Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling for NSW is preferred, not essential) (QLD Current industry RSA, RSG, RMLV and Approved Manager qualifications)
