We are seeking a confident, experienced Systems Engineering and Safety Assurance Professional who can contribute to our Assurance division, especially in the implementation of high-integrity systems.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and providing expert guidance through governance boards.
While experience in the rail industry is preferred, we also welcome applications from professionals with expertise in Renewable Energy and Defence industries.
The ideal candidate will:
Have 10+ years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering, Safety Assurance or Cybersecurity in Rail, Renewable Energy, or Defence.Have an established network of contacts in their professional field.Bring a strong technical background, with specific expertise in relevant technical systems.Experience producing safety cases for high safety integrity systems and managing project compliance to relevant industry standards applicable to their field of expertise.Be confident in client-facing roles, able to present technical concepts clearly and effectively.Be a 'winner/doer'—someone who not only helps grow our Assurance business but also actively contributes to hands-on project delivery.Desirable skills for this role include (candidates not expected to have all desirable skills):
Cybersecurity and experience in managing Cyber related project risks.Systems engineering including IBM DOORS Next Generation (DOORS NG) for requirements management and traceability.Risk assessments and Systems Assurance.What you will do:Provide technical expertise in Systems Engineering and Safety Assurance to major projects.Engage with clients to support project scoping, requirements, and solution development.Contribute to business development initiatives and help expand our Assurance services across multiple industries.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes.Support and manage Configuration Control Boards and relevant governance processes.
