Job Description In partnership with Google Cloud, we are on a mission to assist companies in transforming how they deliver products to their customers.
We require an accomplished Lead Cloud Consultant to join our globally distributed Cloud Infrastructure Team and drive the delivery of multi-cloud transformations and cloud landing zones for our esteemed clients in APAC.
You will act as a GCP subject matter expert providing technical guidance on solutions design, governance, security, operations, and cost control best practices.
As one of the foundational hires for this delivery team in Sydney, you will have a unique opportunity to shape our growth and culture as we expand in APAC.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a hybrid working model based in our office in Sydney's CBD.
For this reason, we are only considering applications from Sydney-based candidates and those located interstate who are willing to relocate to Sydney for this opportunity.
Role Responsibilities: Work with customers to design and build cloud-based infrastructures and landing zonesAssist with the creation of Infrastructure architectures and technical documentationDesign and implement secure cloud foundational implementationsAutomate provisioning of infrastructure and applicationsDevelop cloud-ready applications architectureDeliver end-to-end cloud-based infrastructure management solutionsPresent Infrastructure modernization strategy to C-level executivesImprove monitoring, logging and observability in Client environmentsDefine and implement cloud infrastructure governance and build deployment standardsWork cross-functionally with our delivery management teamQualifications: Advanced experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) developmentExperience with virtualization: servers, storage, networksGoogle Cloud certifications and demonstrated experience using GCP's suite of tools in an enterprise environmentExperience with infrastructure-based processes such as monitoring, capacity planning, performance tuning, cost optimisation, and disaster recoveryExperience with Google's Cloud Foundation Toolkit and Landing Zone implementationsExperience with data centre exit strategiesAdditional Information Discover some of the global benefits that empower our people to become the best version of themselves:
