YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE   One permanent full time and one permanent part-time (0.63EFT) Grade 4 positions exist at our Sunshine campus commencing March 2025 The successful candidates will have strong clinical leadership skills, be committed to patient and staff welfare and be able to demonstrate a dedication to teamwork and communication.
They will have advanced knowledge of radiation therapy requirements for planning and treatment procedures and be part of a team that focusses on delivering excellence in patient care, utilising state of the art radiation therapy equipment and evidence-based practice.
The successful applicants will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the provision of high-quality radiotherapy services.

Responsible for the technical standards and operation of a specific departmental unit, undertaking significant clinical, administrative, technical or educational responsibilities.
To supervise, provide guidance, leadership and assistance with the professional development of the Radiation Therapists delivering Radiotherapy treatment or planning services on that unit.

 Key Accountabilities   Demonstrated by / Key Performance Indicators 1.Practice in Radiation Therapy •Practice radiation therapy according to MRPBA Professional Capabilities for Medical Radiation Practice •Responsibility for all patient radiotherapy treatment delivery, ensuring individual treatment plans are administered in accordance with Peter Mac clinical guidelines, policies and procedures •Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of general and advanced radiation therapy principles and practice •Apply radiation therapy principles to a range of general and advanced techniques in treatment and planning •Apply critical and reflective thinking to resolve complex radiation therapy clinical challenges •Apply understanding of anatomy, physiology and pathology to clinicalactivities •Apply principles of medical radiation physics and instrumentation •Use patient information management systems appropriately •Assess the patient's capacity to receive care •Recognise when input is required from expert colleagues, and act to obtain their involvement •Act to ensure workloads are manageable and others have the opportunity to self-manage and regulate •Adjust planned activities of the work team by gathering relevant information and applying critical thinking to address multiple and changing demands in the work environment •Delegate activities to others appropriately, according
