Apprentice Security Technician

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and customer service-oriented Apprentice Security Technician to join our amazing culture.

The Role As an Apprentice Field Technician, you will be working on a variety of industry leading control systems, wireless network equipment, intruder/alarm systems, variety of CCTV systems and other building control-based systems/applications.
You will be partnered with one of our Senior Field Technicians who will support, mentor and train you.
What you'll do with "Our Training and Your Experience": Installation of small to large commercial projects.Commissioning of small to medium commercial projects.System programming of small to medium commercial projects.Diagnoses and fault finding of all security equipment.Liaising with Senior Field Technicians during the installation and commissioning of minor works and major projects.Assisting the service department and projects team with new and existing works.Requirements: Must have a current driver's licence.Self-motivated & able to work in a team environment.Good communication skills, honest, hardworking, reliable.Computer literate.Construction Industry card (White Card) (preferred, not essential).Work Safe High-Risk Licence (preferred, not essential).EWPA Licence (preferred, not essential).Why join us?
