The multidisciplinary hub develops future leaders, and actively partners with innovative industries to solve scientific problems of global significance.
The teaching and research programs within the School of Chemical Engineering educate chemical engineers to play leading roles in the chemical, biochemical, pharmaceutical, environmental, food and beverage technology, energy and combustion, and advanced materials industries.
We are seeking dedicated and passionate casual staff to assist with the delivery of our Semester 1 undergraduate and postgraduate courses, semester commencing Monday 3 March 2025. Application Process: Please view the available courses through the application form, to determine what area of work offerings are being made available for individual courses (i.e., other academic activity, marking, etc.
).Ensure you meet the essential criteria:Conferral of an undergraduate degree in a relevant fieldGood technical knowledge of the key teaching components of the courses you are applying forExcellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain technical information to studentsAvailable and flexible to meet the minimum hourly/sessional requirements for the courseAble to work collegially to support excellent teaching within the SchoolAre an Australian citizen or possess eligible Australian working visa**Please note: Prospective employees are required to provide evidence of their Australian citizenship or working rights.
