797067Hybrid: Work from any Capital City in Australia, AustraliaNSW- Sydney CBD, NSW, AustraliaVictoria Street, VIC- Melbourne CBD, VIC, AustraliaCorporate & Institutional BankingFinancial MarketsPermanent Full timeOpening at: Jan 1 2025 at 06:00 AEDTClosing at: Jan 10 2025 at 23:55 AEDTAs the Senior Associate, you will support the Finance Customer Experience team to produce and provide commercial insight, analysis and recommendations to drive and improve Business performance, to the Business and/or to Finance functions including performance & planning, financial reporting/control and finance business partners depending on business requirements.In this Senior Associate role, you will:Assess, analyse, and investigate aspects of financial reporting, including understanding of variances to Business plan/expectations to ensure accurate reporting and the production of Business financial insight for potential drivers of variances.Provide detailed financial analysis to enable the provision of commercial and financial advice, on both strategic and operational initiatives to the Business.Support the delivery of consolidated central reporting and oversight for GCOO.Maintain strong balance sheet control and understanding through the sign off balance sheet reconciliations including ensuring aged balances are cleared and reconciliation breaks are clearly understood and providing detailed analysis and information to support the FDC process.Support the reporting oversight of Domain, project activities and half year and year end reporting periods by acting as key process support for external disclosures.Support change initiatives by managing all financial impacts including validating/restatement of numbers, mapping of ledger and insight and taking actions to reduce key data gaps as required.What You'll Bring:Curious outcome focussed self-starter with uncompromising drive, passion, focus, and energy to help innovate and drive change.Enjoys working collaboratively and building strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.Ability to deliver in complex organisations and matrix structures.Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence, coach, advise Senior Leaders using data/logic.Excellent stakeholder management skills including planning, communication and influencing skills.Profound experience in data analysis, problem solving and driving commercial insights.Substantial years of experience in finance/financial services.
