We offer a wide range of services to our customers and specialize in chemical, fertilizer, seed, agronomy services, rural merchandise, livestock, property, and water equipment, to ensure customers have what they need, when they need it.
With a history of over 127 years of service, the McGregor Gourlay Agricultural Services team is at the forefront of agriculture, with an outstanding level of experience across a wide range of cropping environments, to assist our customers pioneer production into new areas across the region and maximize the potential of their cropping and livestock operations.
Job Description McGregor Gourlay is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Inverell team in a Merchandise Sales / Store Person role.
This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to become an important member of our busy and dynamic team, while working with some of the industry's most progressive growers and producers in the region.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Supporting customer service and answering phones Efficiently managing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of products Accurately picking and packing customer orders for delivery Safely loading and unloading delivery vehicles in accordance with company procedures Maintaining an organized and tidy warehouse space, ensuring goods are stored in the correct locations Supporting regular stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy Helping resolve any issues or discrepancies with incoming and outgoing orders Operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, in a safe and efficient manner The ideal candidate for this role will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
