About the role Thiess are seeking Diesel Fitters for their QLD Sites, including Caval Ridge, Lake Vermont, QCoal Northern Hub, Curragh North, Peak Downs, and Olive Downs Complex.
Various rosters are on offer based on site location.
In these roles, you will:
Perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of large scale mobile mining equipment including CAT Trucks and Dozers, Graders and other ancillary equipment as directed in accordance with Thiess servicing, lubrication and maintenance systems documentation.Complete General Maintenance, Breakdowns, Services and Component changeouts to a high standard.Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.Conduct required inspections to maximise equipment utilisation.About you To be successful in this role you are required to have:
Proven experience as a Heavy Diesel Fitter.Post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry.Experience in General Maintenance, Breakdowns, Component Change Outs and Servicing of Heavy Earth Moving Equipment.Demonstrated experience with Liebherr and CAT Heavy Earth Moving Equipment is preferred.What Thiess can do for you Permanent full-time positions.Attractive Hourly Rate.Thiess' commitment to training & career development.Salary sacrifice options – Novated leasing.Range of corporate discounts including health insurance (Medibank), travel & retail products.About us Thiess works with clients in Australia, Asia and the Americas in the dynamic field of open-cut and underground mining.
