The candidate will be responsible for managing the mechanical design and delivery aspects of large and complex integrated systems.
This will include managing resources at a project team level, controlling relevant budgets, adhering to the overall project schedule, working with other teams in a cross-functional design aspect, and reporting progress to the Mechanical Design Manager.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team.
This is a project-based role with the following key responsibilities:
Lead the mechanical design team on assigned projects, including coordinating and allocating tasksAttending sales and project review meetingsDevelop system designs and layoutsManage design schedule, budget, and work ordersLiaise with Project Managers, architects, builders, consultants, and purchasing teamCheck and approve drawings, calculations, and technical documentationDevelop mechanical installation work packages and inspection and test plansProvide technical support and advice to other areas of the business and junior employeesAssist with system commissioning and testingWHAT WE OFFER Progressive and innovative global company experiencing high growthCareer Development and Global OpportunitiesCompetitive salary, salary packaging, and novated leasing availableCorporate discounts on car rentals and IT products/accessoriesPaid Parental Leave + super: 12 weeks for primary carer/2 weeks secondaryEmployee Referral ProgrammeHOW TO APPLY
