As our Learning & Organisational Development Specialist, you'll empower our Local Area Coordination (LAC) teams to grow and excel in the evolving landscape of the NDIS.
You will design, develop, and deliver high-quality learning initiatives that align with organisational goals, focusing on building staff capabilities to adapt to changing service needs.What You'll Do:Dive deep to understand the unique needs of each community.
Develop training that speaks to local realities and empowers staff to connect with participants meaningfully.Create dynamic training sessions, both in-person and virtual, that prepare our teams to provide exceptional service and build strong community connections.Partner with subject matter experts to develop future-focused programs that align with LAC and NDIS goals.
You'll help shape training for engagement, adaptability, and readiness.Work closely with staff through transitional phases, helping them embrace new responsibilities with confidence and purpose.Partner with the Quality Practice team to integrate evidence-based practices and monitor learning impact.Cultivate a positive and inclusive culture by promoting staff well-being and engagement, that is aligned with the organisational strategy and connects to the broader NDIA vision.About You:We're looking for a learning and development professional who's passionate about empowering others through engaging, tailored training.Essential Skills, Experience, and Knowledge:Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a learning and organisational development role.A passion for training, with a natural ability to deliver motivating, engaging, and inspiring sessions.Experience in delivering engaging training and achieving course outcomes.Demonstrated ability to train individuals of diverse ages, cultures, and job roles.High level of skill in designing fit-for-purpose learning content.Excellent written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills.Strong organisation and time management skills.Qualifications, Certificates, and Registrations:Qualification in adult learning/education, minimum Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (TAE40110).This position requires relevant checks in accordance with the National Disability Insurance Agency, including Working with Children & Vulnerable Persons and NDIS Worker Screening Checks.Experience with content authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe).Knowledge of Learning Management Systems.Previous experience with the NDIS, especially within NDIA / Local Area Coordination or the disability sector.The Benefits:Non-for-profit Salary Packaging (up to the value of $15,899 per annum tax-free) and Meal and Entertainment Packaging (up to the value of $2,650 per annum tax-free).Employee Benefit Discount Program "Reward Gateway".Private Health Insurance Discount (Medibank).Up to 9 weeks paid parental leave (for eligible employees).Flexible Working Arrangements.If you're ready to use your expertise to make a meaningful difference, we'd love to hear from youIf you would like to discuss accessibility requirements, preferred communication methods or other possibilities please contact us.
