About the role We are currently seeking a Systems Control Engineer to join our dynamic team.
As a Systems Control Engineer, you will play a vital role in database automation, dashboard design and development, data analysis, database maintenance and optimisation.
You will be responsible for:
Design, test and deploy software applications using C++ and Qt, ensuring seamless integration with a range of hardware systems.Program and configure industrial control systems in CodeSys, prioritising stability and flexibility.Develop and optimise image detection algorithms to enable accurate real-time object tracking.Integrate image detection systems to enhance automation and safety measures.GNSS data processing:Process GNSS data to support precise location-based applications.Perform data transformations to achieve high spatial accuracy in various project environments.IoT & Sensor Integration:Design and implement IoT solutions, integrating sensor data to provide real-time insights.Use sensor fusion techniques to ensure accuracy and reliability across applications.Control systems & Automation in CodeSys:Develop and optimise control algorithms for industrial automation applications.Documentation & Compliance:Prepare essential documentation, such as IO lists and system diagrams, ensuring consistency and clarity.Work closely with senior engineers and support teams on project development and customisation.Provide technical assistance to clients and adapt solutions as project needs evolve.Selection Criteria Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or relevant experience in electronics/software design.Strong proficiency in C++, Qt, CodeSys, Python and Linux.Experience with IoT, object detection and AutoCAD Electrical.Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.What we will offer you WSG offers professional development, collaborative culture, career growth opportunities and an industry-competitive salary package.
