New role: As a recently created position, you can make this role your ownLeadership: Manage a team of 15 and have a meaningful impact on operationsOpportunity: Shape and implement compliance and safety processesSchedule: Enjoy a Monday to Friday working week with no weekend workLearning: Access formal and informal opportunities to upskill and increase your capabilitiesReputation: Work for an Australian-owned business known for its quality productsLocation: Work away from CBD congestion, in Sydney's western suburbsDevelopment: Contribute to continuous improvements and operational excellenceLegacy: Have confidence in your job stability with this long-standing organisation.About the roleMain tasks: This role oversees warehouse and distribution centre operations, ensures compliance, and leads a team of 15 staff.Other tasks: Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and standard application processes (SAPs)Conduct risk assessments to ensure a safe and compliant work environmentLead staff training programs, including inductions and product safety educationEnsure machinery and processes meet SafeWork NSW compliance standardsDrive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and safety practicesCollaborate with the CEO on strategic and operational initiativesStay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.About the companyThe hiring company is a well-established and respected supplier in the water treatment industry, specialising in chemicals, equipment, and accessories for pools and spas.

What you must have to apply for this role: Proven experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing operations managementA background in dangerous goods compliance & HACCP standardsExperience in writing and implementing operational procedures (SOPs & SAPs)The ability to conduct risk assessments & ensure safety complianceLeadership experience, including staff training & development.You will be highly regarded if you also have: Industry experience in chemicals or pool and spa productsA background in food manufacturing or a similar environmentFamiliarity with SafeWork NSW regulations & compliance requirements.All you must do to apply for this role is to submit your resume to Mark Taylor via the "Apply Now" button below.
