The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions is seeking expressions of interest for 2 x AO4 Project Officers in the Women's Safety and Justice Taskforce.
The Project Officer is a specialist role established for the purpose of providing project management and administrative support for key projects currently being delivered by ODPP, including implementation of recommendations arising from the Women's Safety and Justice Taskforce (WSJT) and the Forensic DNA Inquiry.The Project Officer has responsibility for maintaining project specific documentation and providing administrative support to the project team.
There are two temporary flexible full-time roles available.
About the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions: The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) represents the State of Queensland in criminal cases.
The ODPP's significant responsibility is to prosecute criminal matters in the High Court of Australia, Court of Appeal (Qld), Supreme Court, Mental Health Court, District Court, the Childrens Court of Queensland, and the Magistrates Court (in limited locations and matters).
About your opportunity: There are two temporary flexible full-time roles available.
As the Project Officer, the incumbent will: Contribute to the delivery of WSJT and DNA Inquiry projects by providing support for project management activities and general administrative support.Monitor and measure the quality of project deliverables to ensure they are successfully transitioned into business as usual and meet the business needs of the ODPP.Facilitate effective working relationships to ensure seamless service delivery and to provide feedback to improve systems.Contribute to reporting project performance, including benefits realised and support the Project Manager in maintaining project governance.The successful candidate will demonstrate experience and abilities to: Demonstrate administrative and/or legal expertise and ability to apply these skills in a project environment.Build and sustain relationships, through the application of strong stakeholder engagement, and interpersonal and written communication skills.Monitor and prioritise workloads and ensure delivery of outputs in a timely manner.Understand basic governance mechanisms and demonstrate capability to plan, coordinate and document meetings, forums and workgroup outcomes.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
