About the roleWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our dynamic team at Dolphin Ave Early Learning Centre in Mermaid Beach, QLD.
As an ECT, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality educational experiences for children aged 3-5 years.
This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of young learners in a supportive and nurturing environment.
What you'll be doing
Plan and implement engaging, play-based learning programs that align with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG)
Observe, assess and document children's learning and development to inform future curriculum planning
Build strong relationships with children, families and the broader community
Maintain a safe, healthy and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching practices and outcomes
Actively participate in professional development opportunities
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification
Registered or eligible for registration as an Early Childhood Teacher in Queensland
Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering high-quality, play-based educational programs for children aged 3-5 years
Strong understanding of the QKLG and ability to implement it effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for early childhood education
