Maintenance Manager

An exciting career opportunity exists for a hands-on Maintenance Manager to join the Facilities team at Metung Hot Springs.
Our Maintenance Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing maintenance activities ensuring that MEHS is maintained in a safe and efficient manner that ensures asset reliability, optimizes guest experience, and aligns with MEHS values.
About the Role Reporting to the General Manager, the Maintenance Manager will ensure that equipment and the facility are maintained to a high standard while leading and inspiring the team to achieve operational success.
In addition, the role will encompass the following accountabilities:
Develop and maintain preventative maintenance strategies;Oversee the completion of maintenance works, ensuring all work is completed in an efficient and timely manner that meets industry and MEHS quality and safety standards;Develop management strategies and operating procedures that ensure all work is aligned with the vision, values, and overall business strategies;Track preventative and reactive maintenance works including workflow management, inventory control, productivity levels, timekeeping, and cost analysis;Lead, motivate, and develop all employees within the Maintenance team.About You You will have strong maintenance skills and/or a background in an engineering trade with previous experience in managing work crews in the field.

You possess exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, along with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
