Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) is delivering a massive investment in the state's roads.
We're delivering major new road projects across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria while improving the roads people rely on every day.
The West Gate Tunnel Project will give Melbourne a second freeway link between the west and the city - providing a much-needed alternative to the West Gate Bridge and a vital second river crossing.
North East Link will fix the missing link in Melbourne's freeway network with new 6.5 km tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen.
We're also overhauling the Eastern Freeway and completing the M80 Ring Road at Greensborough.
Road Programs are also delivering dozens of new roads, bridges, road widening projects and major freeway upgrades.

Taking active responsibility for State oversight of all elements of MEI infrastructure delivery, including planning, procurement, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, verification, and documentation.
Undertaking proactive planning and execution of testing and commissioning activity using a risk-based prioritisation approach with due consideration of workload forecasts, capabilities, and documentation.
Leading the quality review processes for testing and commissioning activities, including review and tracking of test procedures, witness point representation, and results/evidence documentation, to ensure that MEI systems are installed, integrated, and commissioned robustly.
Providing effective management of a team of engineering resources, including junior engineers and external technical advisors, to drive a culture of integrity, delivery performance, technical expertise, and accountability.
Reviewing and collaborating with internal and external Programming teams to establish delivery milestones, sequence logic, program durations and phases to facilitate tracking and reporting of MEI delivery activities and identify risks from clashes or constraints.
Reporting to the Integration Manager within the North East Link Program (NELP) Central Package team, this role will lead State oversight of the delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation (MEI) scope and systems.
The Senior Manager, Delivery (MEI) will be responsible for engineering processes and resource management to provide assurance for the planning, procurement, witnessing, testing, and performance verification of MEI scope and implementation of the North East Link Program.

The role will require proactive interaction with the NELP Central's Contractor team to manage the resolution of technical and logistical issues across all MEI delivery activities, ensuring timely project completion.
Furthermore, this role is accountable for monitoring, reporting, and resolving delivery issues within tight and conflicting timeframes, often with competing priorities and Stakeholders.
The Senior Manager, Delivery is a results-driven, proactive role that consistently delivers timely results associated with MEI installation and commissioning on major infrastructure projects.

About You
A qualification in engineering or related discipline is mandatory.
Registration on the National Engineering Registry (NER) Obtainment, or eligibility and progression towards obtainment, of a Chartered credential (CPEng) through Engineers Australia (or affiliated body).
This opportunity is 3 years fixed-term.
It will be a requirement to travel and spend time at one or all our site offices.
